The special charge levy program that funds the marketing and management activities of the Moonee Ponds Traders Association for the last 5 years will expire at the end of June 2024. The rates collected by Moonee Valley City Council from tenants and/or owners to provide a collective annual budget oy $48,465. The association has expressed a desire to see a new charge declared for a 5-year period commencing on 1 July 2024.
Before Moonee Valley City Council will commence any formal consideration for renewal, a review of the current scheme is important to identify achievements, areas for improvement and obtain important feedback from the owners and tenants on several aspects within the program. The distribution of this survey is just one way that will be used to obtain your feedback on recent and past performance as well as ideas for the future. The survey is being conducted, administered and analysed by the Traders Association with the support of Moonee Valley City Council, with the support of the Traders Association. Results will be shared with the Traders Association to assist in making an informed decision about the future directions and options for a 5-year program.
