Our mission is to bring Australians the very best games, puzzles, jigsaws, and Lego from the most inventive and loved manufacturers from across the globe. As such, we stock everything from tabletop games, role-playing games, war games, and traditional games to outdoor games. 

Whether youโ€™re looking for a game for your 18-month-old, your school-aged child, a friend or family member, an elderly relative, or yourself, weโ€™ll help you find just the right one. From old to new, creative to classic, and original to the latest edition, weโ€™ve got a game for you! 

This family business means the world to us, so itโ€™s lucky that we have such a great love and passion for all kinds of games. We combine that with our awesome and knowledgeable staff, and together weโ€™ve created exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond. 

Our passion has been passed down through the generations and has given us one especially awesome accolade. Mind Games is the Oldest Board Game Store in Australia, and weโ€™re proud to hold this significant title! With stores across Hawthorn, Malvern, Moonee Ponds, and Northcote, we truly have Melbourne covered for games of all descriptions. 

Here at Mind Games, weโ€™re also proud to be heavily involved in our community, supporting local schools, charities, and libraries. So whether you need one item for your family or a larger charitable or corporate purchase, we can accommodate. 

While it may sound like a dream jobโ€” and it is!โ€”it hasnโ€™t come without challenges. 2020 saw us open our store online in the peak of Covid, which was a big pivot from its 1977 roots. It was definitely a transition, and weโ€™re proud of how we made our way through it, giving Moonee Ponds and Melbourne locals a great way to spend their time. And while we love getting games out to you in any way we can, nothing beats seeing your smiling faces in person. Moonee Ponds has a great sense of community; weโ€™re so proud to be a part of it.
